Joana Colomar
Joana Colomar, Valencia 1986, is a director living between Barcelona and Madrid. Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, she completed her studies between the ESTC of Lisbon and the UPF of Barcelona.
His first video clip, “Follow me” for Maïa Vidal and produced with very light budget, was nominated for best international pop video clip, along with MIA, Lana del Rey and Justice, and also obtained nomination in the Young Directors Award of Cannes.
Since then she directed commercials in Spain for brands such as Decathlon, Bitter Kas, Fisher Price or Volkswagen. His most artistic pieces have been released in NOWNESS on several occasions.
Joana's restless spirit has recently led her to research in the field of architecture, and her piece "Rosa" was awarded the prestigious Simon architecture award in the Living Places category.
